Convergence Workshop on Digital Health Governance Sri Lankan perspective

A convergence meeting is where national implementers, stakeholders, and international digital health experts can come together to share experiences, outline national digital health needs, align them with the available resources, and closely collaborate with stakeholders for resource mobilization. The process is designed to be general and universal in many respects and, therefore, flexible enough for adaptation to the country’s needs.
The Sri Lanka College of Health Informatics, HISSL and the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Asia eHealth Information Network have organized a workshop on Digital Health Governance, focussing on data, IT and information governance. This workshop is expected to align the digital health action plan for the coming year according to the seven core building blocks which are governance and leadership, policy and legislation, strategy and investment, infrastructure, standards and interoperability, system and application and workforce. The plan is then streamlined to achieve short-term, medium term and long-term goals.
This event will be held on 22nd December 2022 from 8.30am – 4.00pm at Marino Beach Hotel, Colombo 03.
