
To obtain student membership, you should be
- a medical or dental practitioner who is a graduate of a medical school or university recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council AND
- registered or qualified to be registered under the section 29 or section 43 of the Medical Ordinance AND
- undergoing postgraduate training in Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Informatics at the PGIM
Student members do not have voting rights and they can not be elected to any position in the Council of the College. The student membership will be valid for a maximum of four (4) years from the date of enrolment to the MSc in Biomedical Informatics program.
The following documents are required to obtain student membership of the College:
- Certificate of the primary qualification (MBBS/BDS etc)
- SLMC first registration and latest renewal certificate
- List of successful candidates at MSc in Biomedical informatics screening examination published by the PGIM
- The Payment slip / Online transaction receipt for the membership fee
