Post-congress Satellite Meeting of the Colombo Medical Congress 2022 on Accelerating Digital Health in Sri Lanka was held on 27th November 2022. Organised by the UCFM Center for Digital Health in partnership with Sri Lanka College of Health Informatics, Health Informatics Society of Sri Lanka, Commonwealth Center For Digital Health, European Connected Health Alliance & Ministry of Health.

Over the past decades, many digital health initiatives have been implemented in Sri Lanka with varying levels of success. This forum provided a platform for implementers, innovators, and users to share experiences and glean new insights into overcoming challenges, empowering Sri Lanka in its digital health journey.

Topics ranged from top level national digital health architecture to readily deployable solutions, both home grown and global digital goods. International Digital Health Hubs established in University of Southampton, University College of London and the University of Birmingham provides training opportunities for Sri Lankan Health Informatics professionals to further develop their career.
